Research Topic
My research seeks to understand how speech prosody is organised as a system of linguistic contrasts, shapes language comprehension and influences communicative interaction. I am passionate about providing empirically sound answers to theoretically motivated questions, and see my research being embedded within the framework of laboratory phonology.
Fields of Research Interest
Speech prosody, intonational phonology, links between language and music, individual variability, speech perception
