研究テーマ
As a social constructionist, I view technologies as socio-cognitive systems. This means that social dynamics and psychological dynamics drive the creation, adoption, success and failure of technology in the real world. My research has examined the role that audiences play in increasing or decreasing the impact of technologies once revealed to the world, how competitive actions of rivals might impact the selection process for technologies, and how the social dynamics of teams empowered to create such innovations within firms impact both the technology and the firm.
研究項目
The social construction of technology and economic markets. Doing business differently.
