ICC’s “Japan-China-Korea Speak Your Mind Camp,” which was very popular last year, will be held again this year! The theme of “Japan-China-Korea” and the 3 days & 2 nights format remain the same, but the content has evolved into something even deeper!
About 64% of international students at Waseda University are from China and Korea.
With Japan, the three nations are neighbors geographically and closely tied together from ancient times.
Although they seem to have similar cultures, they actually have many differences once you take a closer look.
In this camp, we go beyond simply exploring what is different, we dive into why these differences exist, and explore the historical, political, and cultural backgrounds behind them.
“Close but far away”
“Familliar, but still full of surprises”
A 3-day exchange camp at Kamogawa seminar house (Chiba prefecture) is a great chance to get to know each other through various activities. We hope that this will be an opportunity to deepen bonds with our participants by noticing commonalities and differences.
If you are interested in Japanese-Chinese-Korean politics, history and society, don’t miss this chance –sign up today!
Recommended if…:
・you are interested in Japan-China-Korea relations, history, and politics
