Why I wanted to be an SSL なぜSSLとして応募したか
I thought ICC was the perfect place for students to make international connections. I wanted to support students, international and locals alike, because coming together in an unfamiliar environment could be challenging. I wanted to be an SSL as I could work with ICC to support students to build international networks and support them during overwhelming times.
ICCは学生が国際的なつながりを持つのに最適な場所だと思いました。慣れない環境で親しくなることは難しいかもしれないので、留学生も地元の人も、学生をサポートしたいと思いました。ICCで一緒に国際的なネットワークを構築し、圧倒されるような時期に学生をサポートできるSSLになりたいと思いました。
Rewarding moments as an SSL SSLとして働くことへのやりがい
As an SSL, the most rewarding moment is when students or participants enjoy themselves during an event or an interaction. Participants being able to network and connect to other participants really makes my day. At the end of the day, I am rewarded with a feeling of accomplishment and acquire communication skills. Being an SSL, I am also able to make lots of friends and work as a team with other staff.
SSLとして最もやりがいを感じる瞬間は、学生や参加者がイベントや交流を楽しんでいるときです。参加者同士のネットワークができたり、他の参加者とつながりができたりすると、本当に嬉しくなります。また、1日の終わりには、達成感やコミュニケーションスキルの習得というやりがいもあります。SSLになったことで、たくさんの友人を作り、他のスタッフとチームとして働くこともできるようになりました。
