Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School is a co-educational public high school established in 1989, the first high school in Tokyo which dedicated its whole curriculum to international understanding. It was founded “to develop a well-balanced international mindset, maturity, and the ability to reason in its students so that they can be respected and trusted in the world.”
The class you will be teaching, Inquiry-Based Cross-Cultural Understanding, is one of their special courses. And you will create a plan and materials and teach a lesson!
Help Kokusai (“international” in Japanese) students, known to be lively and unique, develop a global mindset, while broadening your mind as well! Don’t miss this rare opportunity!
What is the Inquiry-Based Cross-Cultural Understanding class about?
This course for the 3rd-year students (17-18 year-olds) is intended to foster understanding and respect for different countries, races, cultures and traditions.
