Why not try speaking another language, chatting about various topics and making new friends at ICC Lunch Talk?
At these events, you can have a casual chat in a specific language or about a specific topic during lunchtime. No need to be fluent in the language or be expert in the topic, just come and have a fun time! Now you can eat your lunch during the event too.
We have two types of Lunch Talks: Language sessions, where participants can learn about a specific language or country, and Themed sessions, where participants can have a casual chat in English or Japanese about a specific topic.
In addition to the usual language sessions where participants can learn about a specific language or country, we have added themed sessions where participants can have a casual chat in English or Japanese with others about a specific topic.
Language Sessions ※Pre-registration required

This is perfect for everyone from native speakers to people who are learning the language and want to practice! We have phrase sheets to help you, so anyone of any level is welcome.
Themed Sessions ※No registration required
This month’s themes are: Anime, Games, Sports, Food, Travel
It’s a great chance to make new friends and to interact with others in either Japanese or English. We also have topic sheets to help you start the conversation, so it’s easy to discuss common interests. For the Games Lunch, we also have some board games for you to play!
