Have you ever heard of the term “Diversity and Inclusion”?
“D&I” is a term that expresses the importance of accepting diverse human resources (diversity) and utilizing them (inclusion) in organizations and groups.
You may be thinking, “I understand that it is important to embrace diversity, but what exactly do I need to do?”
At this event, we will invite Ms. Ayako Hayashi, who is in charge of social impact at Starbucks Coffee Japan K.K., as a guest speaker to talk about Starbucks’s mission and specific initiatives.
We will also invite partners (employees working at Starbucks Coffee shops) to share their experiences of working at Starbucks and episodes related to diversity.
It may seem like a difficult topic to talk about, but when you think that Starbucks is doing it, doesn’t it seem a little more familiar?
Whether you are interested in learning more about D&I, Starbucks’ initiatives, or even if you have never given diversity much thought, this is a great opportunity to learn together!
We look forward to seeing you there!
