Do you like interacting with young people?
Would you like to tell Japanese students about your home country?
In this program Waseda students will visit a local high school and participate in the students’ interview project, talking about your home country and your background.
The 10th and 11th grade classes (15-17 year-olds) are doing a project about cultures, customs and perspectives of foreign countries. For this purpose, they would like to interact and exchange ideas directly with other young people from various countries and backgrounds. Students will share what they learn during those classes with their classmates and the whole school. They will also give short presentations to teach you about Japanese culture and customs.
No Japanese language skills are needed, and no advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the students in English!
The program is a great opportunity, to see what a Japanese school is like, and especially for those interested in intercultural education and volunteering.
This is a rare chance, so sign up today!
