What do railroad companies do?
Railroads are such an integral part of our daily lives that we don’t even think about them. And railroad companies are an integral part of many aspects of our lives, not just transportation.
ICC has invited Mr. Masaaki Shirakawa, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer of Kintetsu Group Holdings, to talk about the Kintetsu Group’s initiatives and the co-creating society they envision.
Centered in the Kinki and Tokai areas, the Kintetsu Group operates a wide variety of businesses, including railroads, buses and cabs, real estate, distribution, and hotels and leisure. Kintetsu Railway, the Group’s core company, runs lines through Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Mie, and Aichi, serving some of Japan’s leading tourist attractions such as Ise-Shima and Nara.
This is a great opportunity to learn the inside of the railroad industry and hear about the vision for the industry the local communities they serve!
We look forward to seeing you there!
