ICC’s highly popular “Japan-China-Korea: Speak Your Mind Camp” is back! Same as last time, our Japan-China-Korea café this year will be held online, so that participants living outside of Japan can easily join.
Japan, China and Korea have diplomatic relations and intertwined histories from ancient times. In recent years, young people in these nations have lively exchanges centered on pop-culture, too.
This time, we are not going to focus on outlining the history and culture of these three countries. Instead, we are planning to center the discussions on our own life experiences, which will help us realize the similarities across nationalities. In the end, we hope it will help build strong connections between us.
Beyond ancient history and culture, we have quiz games, a panel discussion by student supporters from all three countries and many other fun activities to facilitate communication. In addition, you will also have time for free talk where you can ask each other about your own interests.
Some of you might have not had many opportunities to talk to students from other countries? in the past year due to COVID-19. Well, here is your chance to do so. Let’s meet together, share stories, and make new friends! If you are interested in Japan, China, or Korea, don’t miss out!!
