Would you like to try the traditional Japanese winter event Mochitsuki (rice-cake making) in Okuma Garden?
You can make the cakes using the kine (mallet) and usu (pestle), traditional tools on the day.
You can even get warm kenchinjiru (vegetable soup) with mochi inside for free!

This year we will also have a special performance of traditional Japanese dance by the Yosakoi dance team “Tokyo Hanabi”.

The main features of our performance are the powerful male role dancers, and elegant female role dancers.
We will present two of our dance performances “Haikara” and “Hanakaruta”. Please come and see!! 🙂
