Would you like to try the traditional Japanese winter event “Mochitsuki” (rice-cake making) in Okuma Garden?
You can make the cakes using the “Kine” and “Usu”, traditional tools on the day.
You can even get warm Kenchinjiru (vegetable soup) with mochi inside for free!

This year we will also have a special performance of traditional Japanese dance by Yosakoi dance team “Tokyo Hanabi”.

We are Waseda University’s Yosakoi dance team “Tokyo Hanabi”.
The main features’s of our performance are the powerful male role dancers, and elegant female role dancers.
We will present 2 of our dance performances “Haikara” and “Hanakaruta”. Please come and see!! 🙂
