Would you like to go to Tokyo Camii; an exotic and topical spot sitting right in the heart of Tokyo?
If you think that mosques (Muslim places of worship) are things that only exist in faraway places, think again! Actually there are around 90 mosques throughout Japan, even right here in our neighbourhood of Tokyo. So the ICC is holding a special field trip to one of the largest mosques in Japan; Tokyo Camii. The mosque towers over the local residential area with its solemn Ottoman Turk style, but inside are treasures and decorations so beautiful they will take your breath away.
At this event, you will be given a guided tour of the mosque by a Japanese Muslim and be able to mix and talk with Muslim students from Waseda University during the mixing time afterwards. You will be able to see, hear and speak about Islam from many different points of view.

Free. Please pay the travel cost to/from Yoyogi-Uehara Station by yourself.
(If travelling from Waseda Station take the Tozai Line to Otemachi Station and change to the Chiyoda Line to Yoyogi-Uehara Station. A one way ticket is 240yen.)
