What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear “Latin America”?
World Heritage sites such as Easter Island?
Brazilian paradisiacal beaches? Paraguay’s thick grilled steak, and warmhearted people with a cheerful smile?
All this charm beneath an incandescent sun makes one want to set foot in Latin America at least once in our lifetimes.
Latin America may perhaps feel quite distant from Asia, yet, both Asia and Latin America are actually highly connected in trade, business and even cultural exchange!
Now, the ICC invites you to “CAFE LATINOAMERICANO” to taste a glimpse of the wonderful charms of a region comprising dozens of countries: Latin America!
Presentations and quizzes by students from Brazil, Chile and Paraguay will provide you with an overview of everything these countries have to offer.
In addition to that, the Waseda University Latin American Society will delight us with a Samba performance with sounds from “Batucada” instruments.
After that, you are more than welcome to mix with them while enjoying Latin American snacks and drinks that will be provided for free!
Drop by this cafe and experience a new side of Latin America!
