For this program Waseda students will get to spend a day chatting in English with pupils at a Waseda affiliated elementary school.
No Japanese language skills are needed and no advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the kids!
The program is a great opportunity to see what Japanese school life is like and is ideal for those interested in cross-cultural education, volunteering and exchanging with Japanese pupils. Places on this program are limited so sign up today!

Talking to kids in simple English about Manga and various expressions from various countries.

12 students (6 international students & 6 Japanese students)
(A lottery will be held if applicants exceed the capacity)
Eligibility
All Waseda students who can speak English (Native level fluency is NOT required).

*ICC staff will not accompany participants on to this event.
*Transportation expenses will be provided by the school.
*Although this is a volunteer program, participants will be a part of a class at scheduled time for a school, and so dropping out of the program or being late is not acceptable.
