Free A Capella Concert by WASEDA & YALE students / Performers: The Duke’s Men of Yale & Street Corner Symphony (March 22)

This one-night only  free concert features Yale University’s world-famous all male group “The Duke’s Men of Yale” as well as Waseda University’s own “Street Corner Symphony” for this special evening of contemporary a cappella pop!

The Duke’s Men of Yale have performed all around the world including Japan, Thailand, China, Jamaica, Turkey, Peru, England and have even sung at the White House for the American President.

Waseda University’s Street Corner Symphony recently celebrated their 30th year anniversary and have produced famous Japanese groups such as the Gospellers, TRY-TONE and AJI.

Both groups will be performing their contemporary a cappella pop hits and after the concert audience members will have the chance to chat with the performers during an informal mixer with free drinks.

Don’t miss this wonderful night of a capella music from both sides of the Pacific!

The Duke’s Men of Yale Over the past 63 years, The Duke’s Men have grown from a young quartet into a close family of more than 375 singers.
Their repertoire, arranged entirely by current and past members, is challenging, and diverse. Mixing oldies and contemporary hits, they create a unique sound that blends contemporary pop a cappella with the Yale singing tradition.SET LIST:

Street Corner Symphony Street Corner Symphony (SCS) is an a cappella club at Waseda University.
