I went to Welcome Café three times this semester. I found it fascinating every time to engage in conversations with students from such diverse backgrounds. Each discussion brought new perspectives, experiences, and cultures to light. This interaction not only helped break the ice but also made me feel more connected to the Waseda community.
The atmosphere at the Welcome Cafe was warm and inviting. The ICC team facilitated various activities that encouraged us to mingle and share our stories. One activity involved introducing ourselves and sharing a fun fact about our home countries. This created an engaging environment, allowing everyone to learn something new while fostering friendships.

I also appreciated the efforts of the ICC staff, who were attentive and supportive throughout the event. Their dedication to creating a welcoming space for international students was evident, and it made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Overall, attending the Welcome Cafe was a fantastic decision. It exceeded my expectations and helped me establish connections with fellow students. I left the event feeling more confident and excited about my time at Waseda University.
