Coming to Japan was a dream come true for me. I have always been passionate about Japanese culture, whether it be manga, video games, cuisine, architecture, etc.
Coming to do my end-of-year marine biotechnology internship (from University of Brest, Brittany, France) was the best decision I’ve made since leaving my studies. Being quite shy, I took a little time to decide to participate in the activities of the ICC, but I do not regret it at all.
Wanting to discover Japanese art and music even more, I signed up to watch this activity and it was absolutely brilliant. The dancers in kimono and their magnificent dance, accompanied by their music and their instruments, were a real pleasure. Wadaiko’s performance was equally impressive to watch. The powerful sound of the drums, the driving rhythm and the energy of the musicians was extremely impressive.
It’s an activity to attend if you have the possibility.
