New students, welcome to Waseda University!
At the ICC lounge on the 1st floor of building 3, we’re holding a special themed cafe event!
Japanese manga and anime is adored worldwide today, and there are many international students whose interest in Japan stems from interest in pop culture.
Now, we have invited some of those international students to introduce the most popular manga and anime in their homeland!
We will also have a detailed introduction of Japanese pop culture from one of Waseda’s manga student clubs.
There will be mixing time in the 2nd half of the event so you can feel free to chat about manga and anime while mixing with the other participants.
– You have an interest in Japanese manga and anime, but also those from other countries.
– You want to make friends who are also interested in manga and anime.
– You want to practice your Japanese with Japanese students.
– You want to make more Japanese friends and share your own language too.
If any of the above sounds like you, then please come along to this event.
There will be free tea and snacks served.
We’ll be waiting for you at the ICC lounge on the 1st floor of building 3.
