Students from the Misato Junior High School in Misatomachi, Saitama
Prefecture are coming to visit Waseda University!
We’re looking for international students to volunteer to show them
around campus and introduce them to foreign cultures!
The visiting junior high students are looking forward to meeting
Waseda students from all around the world and have a glimpse of a
campus life in Tokyo. Please share your culture as well as campus
life stories from an international student’s point of view while
you also learn Japanese culture from them.
※Although this sounds similar to ICC’s Outreach Program,
this is not a part of a junior high school curriculum, but
a more casual “international exchange event”.
So if you’re an international student who’s interested in interacting
with Japanese junior high students and share your culture with them
then this is the program for you!

Program
11:00am-12:00pm : Campus Tour (informal walk around campus)
*This does not have to be a professionally guided tour.
Take the guest students to your favorite spots on campus!
12:00-1:00pm : Free lunch at Okuma Garden House Cafeteria
1:00-2:30pm : Informal Talk Session at Okuma Garden House

Note) You are welcome to register even if you are not able
to participate in all of the sessions.
Please indicate what portions of the program
you are able to attend on your application form.
Requirements
1. Students who can communicate in Japanese.
2. Students who can introduce their country for 5-10mins.
3. Students who can speak basic English.
(Question time will be in English)

Around 12 students
(In the case of a large number of applications, priority will
be given to those who can attend all parts of the program.)
