Do you like interacting with young people?
Would you like to tell Japanese students about your home country?
For this program Waseda students will visit a Japanese high school and participate in the students’ interview project, talking about your home country and your background.
The 10th and 11th grade (15-17 year-olds) classes are doing a project about cultures, customs and perspectives of foreign countries. For this purpose, they would like to interact and exchanging ideas directly with other young people from various countries and backgrounds. Students will use what they learned during those classes to create presentations for their classmates and the whole school.
No Japanese language skills are needed, and no advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the students in English!
Last year’s visit was online, but this year the plan is to visit in person!
The program is a great opportunity, to see what a Japanese school is like, and especially for those interested in intercultural education and volunteering.
This is a rare chance, so sign up today!
