How to Receive a Medical Examination

You can receive medical care from a doctor.
If you would like to have a health consultation in English, please also consider the following.

Making an appointment

Appointments with our doctors are by appointment only. Please call us in advance to schedule an appointment.
Depending on your symptoms, we may refer you to an appropriate medical facility in the area.
Please see the top page for our opening hours.

On the day of your visit

What to bring

  • Students are required to bring both their “Health Insurance Eligibility Card”(or “My Number Card”) and Student ID card for medical treatment. The medical treatment is partially covered by health insurance and the remaining medical bills will be charged at the reception counter.
  • Faculty and Staff must bring both their “Health Insurance Eligibility Card”(or “My Number Card”) and Faculty/Staff ID card.

1.Reception (2F)

  • Use the intercom on the first floor of Building 25-2 and state that you have a medical appointment.
  • Check in at the reception desk on the second floor.
    ※Present both the “Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate” and your student ID card.

2.Medical Examination (3F)

  • As needed, the doctor will order tests (laboratory tests, X-rays) to aid in your diagnosis and may issue prescriptions.
    You can schedule your next appointment as needed.

3.Billing (2F)

  • Please pay the required fee.
    After payment, you will receive your prescription which you can bring to the pharmacy, and other documents.
