I am quite a rare breed of GLFP student because I’m from the CMS department and I didn’t get to go to the universities in the United States due to the pandemic. However, this program didn’t fail to make my experience incomparably valuable. Through GLFP classes, not only did I get to know the importance of learning with people from diverse backgrounds, but also what it means for us, the privileged Waseda students, to learn about issues. Although it could be challenging to face the paradox and conflict of various issues, it has been nothing but an unparalleled delight to struggle together with these extremely weird but amazingly supportive and talented friends. If you are even a tiny bit interested in applying, give it a shot for a chance to become a member of the diverse weirdos.
