GLFP gave me the opportunity to look back and reflect on myself, what I’ve been through and how I could use those experiences to strengthen myself. There’s no right or wrong answer in the class and it encouraged me to think further as to what leadership is, who it’s for and how I want to lead the world. Unlike other programs at Waseda, this 4-year program continuously expects you to develop yourself from various aspects, which pushes everyone to their potential. Although my study abroad was cancelled due to COVID-19, GLFP still provided me the knowledge and motivation to step outside my comfort zone and think deeper not only on the social issues I have interests in, but also how I’d like to present myself and lead to solutions of the issues I’m studying about.Last but definitely not least, studying along with motivational friends and inspiring cohorts was a stimulating experience that I thank GLFP for. My only wish for anyone interested in GLFP would be to apply and enjoy this experience as much as I did. Hoping nothing but the best for everyone reading this!
