Message

The GLFP program gave me so many opportunities to learn and exchange ideas with great people. But the most important thing I earned through the program was this single thread to organize and reflect upon what it means to be a leader throughout everything I encountered in college. A major event that shook our cohort was the COVID-19 pandemic, which plagued the world with death, poverty, isolation, and domestic violence. Watching many leaders respond to the crisis was one of our activities at GLFP. We saw the burden of leadership and responsibility way heavily on the shoulders of many current global leaders. Because of the circumstances surrounding our generation, a global pandemic will not be the only major global crisis we would be facing. It is why I am hoping that the program had prepared us as leaders for what is to come.
