Choosing to apply and join GLFP was the best choice I ever made here at Waseda. Freshman year, I dreamed to study abroad to an U.S. University from my background living in the US and Japan for ten years each so at Georgetown, I studied politics and foreign service focusing on U.S. Japan relations. In addition to the amazing opportunities to meet and talk about the current issues with professors, ambassadors, previous Presidents, I had the privilege to intern at think tanks and Japanese Embassy in Washington D.C. I even became the Goodwill Ambassador of the National Cherry Blossom Festival and danced the Whip Nae Nae song with Silento!
After studying abroad, I am now truly happy belonging to an inspiring community to share and learn experiences and thoughts from my Japanese and American cohorts as a senior, and I believe this is the best part of GLFP where you cannot gain from any other study abroad programs. Join the GLFP Family!!
