This is a system to provide financial assistance when full-time faculty and staff or their spouses (*) become injured or sick, experience hardship in doing housework or caring for children or family members, and decide to employ a home helper.
Full-time Faculty, Non-tenured Faculty, Researchers, Junior Researchers, Research Associates, Research Associates (JOSHU), Research Associates (KENKYU JOSHU), Full-time Staff and Full-time Contract Employees
(Faculty and staff who are employed through external funding will be eligible.)
1.When full-time teaching faculty and staff or their spouses (*) become injured, sick, have a baby or are hospitalized, experience hardship in doing housework or caring for children or family members, and decide to employ a home helper.
2.When full-time faculty and staff or their spouses (*) find it necessary to care for a parent or child, experience hardship in doing housework or caring for additional children or family members, and decide to employ a home helper.
3.Other cases similar to the above.
<Note>This financial assistance will not be paid simply because a home helper is used (i.e. to care for a family member at home).
(*) Inclusion of anyone who is recognized by the University as a person who is in a similar circumstance to that of a marriage with a faculty or staff regardless of their gender (referred to as “partners”).
70 percent of the home helper cost (excluding transportation costs and commission fees), with a maximum payment of 7,000 yen per day.
