Activity Plan

Through co-sponsorship of the World Computer Shogi Championship, we will share the latest results, and summarize and analyze changes not only in strength but also in the number of moves and the winning rate of the first move. We will reflect the results of our research on bridge in teaching methods, and further improve them through questionnaires. In combinatorial game theory, we will study the algebraic structure of impartial games and partisan games by considering the number of games and Grundy numbers. In addition, we will develop teaching materials that can convey these mechanisms to students. As for the development of teaching materials for games based on group theory, we will develop teaching materials that will teach liberal arts students the basics of group theory, and acquire the ability to think about solutions. The created teaching materials will be used in actual lectures, and improvements will be made while referring to student questionnaires. We will hold seminars at the Game Sciences Laboratory to exchange of opinions, and interaction with members of this institute and related researchers, and to revitalize research.
