Research Summary

The Phage Therapy Institute is the first institute in Japan to specialize in phage therapy research. We will conduct basic research on the construction of phage libraries and the characterization of phage. At the same time, we will form a consortium with other research institutions to extract technical and ethical issues in the clinical application of phage therapy and propose their solutions. Furthermore, we will conduct industry-government-academia projects related to phage therapy, organize international and domestic symposiums, and conduct academic exchanges with European, American, and Asian countries.
