"Anyone can learn"
Waseda University's Data Science Education Program aims to enable students from a variety of academic fields, including humanities and social sciences, science and engineering, and with different mathematical backgrounds to apply their knowledge of data science to their own academic fields.
For this reason, the Data Science Education Program has been established as a university-wide open subject at the Global Education Center, so students from any faculty or graduate school at Waseda University can take this course.
"Learn anytime, anywhere"
In the Data Science Education Program, most courses are offered as fully on-demand courses to students of all faculties and graduate schools.
Fully on-demand courses can be taken anywhere and at any time as long as you have a computer connected to the internet, so you can study at your own pace at any time you like without being tied to a timetable. Also, you can review the lectures as many times as you like during the class period, so you can deepen your understanding by reviewing and solidify your knowledge.
In addition, most subjects are offered in four quarters: spring, summer, fall, and winter, allowing you to choose and take courses at a time that is convenient for you.
Each subject includes practical exercises using programming languages, allowing students to learn not only the theories of data science that are necessary regardless of field, but also the skills to handle real data at the same time.
