“Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.” visits international students.
2023年度から始まり、様々な業界から その業界を代表する企業をお招きし、“早稲田大学の留学生限定” で業界研究イベントを開催してまいりました。
2024 年度は、野村證券をはじめ JR 東日本、住友林業、楽天グループ、ニトリホールディングス、FUJI FILM、Panasonic、2025年度は、6月にりそなグループ、10月は「エイベックス」、そして11月に「JAL」、年明け１月に「JTB」をお招きして開催致しました。2026年度初回は、日立建機をご招待し、早稲田大学生のみならず、他大学生（慶應義塾大学、中央大学、法政大学、明治大学、立教大学）も参加できる機会として開催致します。
日立建機は、1950年の創業以来、主に油圧ショベル、ホイールローダ、鉱山機械の分野で事業をグローバルに展開する建設機械メーカーです。事業環境の変化が激しい中で、これまで培ってきた自社技術に加え、世界中のパートナーが持つ技術を活用するオープンイノベーションによって、世界中のさまざまなお客さまに、社会・環境・経済的に価値のあるソリューションを提供し続けています。完成した製品を世に出して終わりではなく、「現場でどう使われ、どんな価値を生み続けるか」までを考え抜くとこが、日立建機ならではの仕事の面白さと、挑戦のフィールドがあります。
本イベントでは、採用担当者からご説明頂く会社概要やグローバル人材の採用方針、人材育成の考え方等をご紹介いただくほか、実際に働いている、元留学卒業生の先輩社員にも登壇いただき、就職活動当初の経験や日立建機に入社した決め手、仕事のやりがい等を語っていただきます。留学生の皆様にとって、日立建機についても、理解を深めることができる貴重な機会です！
Since the 2023 academic year, we have been hosting industry research events exclusively for international students at Waseda University, inviting leading companies from various industries to participate.
For the first event of the 2026 academic year, we will be hosting Hitachi Construction Machinery and opening the event to students not only from Waseda University but also from other universities (Keio University, Chuo University, Hosei University, Meiji University, and Rikkyo University).
Since its founding in 1950, “Hitachi Construction Machinery” has been a global manufacturer of construction machinery, primarily in the fields of hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, and mining equipment. Amid a rapidly changing business environment, we continue to provide socially, environmentally, and economically valuable solutions to a diverse range of customers worldwide through open innovation—leveraging not only our own proprietary technologies but also those of our partners around the globe. Our work doesn’t end with the release of a finished product; we thoroughly consider “how it will be used on-site and what value it will continue to generate.” This is what makes working at Hitachi Construction Machinery so rewarding and provides a field of challenges unique to our company.
In this event, Hitachi Construction Machinery will introduce their business as well as strategic vision and recruitment policy for international talents. You will also have a chance to meet young staff graduated from Waseda to hear about their job-hunting experiences, reasons to join Hitachi Construction Machinery and so on.

本イベントでは、日立建機のビジネスモデルやグローバルへの取り組み、多様な社員が活躍する職場環境についてご紹介頂きます。さらに、Q＆Aセッションを通じて現在、日立建機でご活躍されている社員(元留学生の外国籍社員)の経験談や仕事のやりがい等についてお話頂きます。なお、本イベントはキャリア教育啓発プログラムと位置付け、企業の採用活動との関係はありません。
