“Japan Airlines Co., Ltd” visits international students in Waseda
2023年度から始まり、様々な業界から その業界を代表する企業をお招きし、“早稲田大学の留学生限定” で業界研究イベントを開催しています。
2024 年度は、野村證券をはじめ JR 東日本、住友林業、楽天グループ、ニトリホールディングス、FUJI FILM、Panasonic、2025年度は、りそなグループをお招きしてきました。10月29日は、エンタテインメント業界から「エイベックス」にご登壇頂き、11月には航空業界から「JAL」をお招きします！！

JALは航空輸送を基軸に、日本と世界を結ぶ豊富な路線網と高い運航品質が特徴の事業モデルを展開されていますが、近年ではESG戦略を経営の最上位に据え、気候変動対策としての燃費効率の改善やカーボンオフセットなどの環境への取り組みに加え、多様性推進や社会貢献活動にも積極的に取り組まれています。また、航空事業に加え、「JALでんき」や「JALモバイル」、「JAL Pay」、「旅アカデミー」といった非航空事業にも事業領域を広げ、生活に密着したサービスも提供されています。
本イベントでは、JALのビジネスモデルや経営戦略、ESGへの取り組み、多様な社員が活躍する職場環境についてご紹介頂きます。さらに、Q＆Aセッションを通じて現在JALでご活躍されている社員(本学卒業の外国籍社員を予定)の経験談や仕事のやりがい等についてお話頂きます。なお、本イベントはキャリア教育啓発プログラムと位置付け、企業の採用活動との関係はありません。
JAL operates a business model centered on air transportation, characterized by an extensive route network connecting Japan and the world with high operational quality. In recent years, it has placed ESG strategy at the forefront of its management. Beyond environmental initiatives such as improving fuel efficiency and carbon offsets as climate change countermeasures, it is also actively promoting diversity and engaging in social contribution activities. Furthermore, beyond its core aviation business, JAL has expanded its business domains into non-aviation sectors, offering services closely integrated into daily life such as “JAL Denki” (electricity), “JAL Mobile,” “JAL Pay,” and “Tabi Academy.”
JAL will introduce their business model, management strategy, ESG initiative, and workplace environment where diverse employees thrive. You can also exchange opinions with foreign employees (Waseda graduates) through Q＆A session. Please note this event is career related educational program and has no connection with its recruitment activity.
