Waseda University is implementing a number of internship programs with the following international organizations overseas based on agreements we have concluded with these institutions. These programs offer students a unique and valuable opportunity to gain practical experience grappling with international and regional issues around the world. In addition, there is a possibility that applicants will receive funding to participate in the internship through Waseda’s “International Organizations Internship Program Scholarship”, so we encourage all those interested to apply.
Overseas Research Travel Grant Program for Master’s and Doctoral Course students

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) |
Gain experience working in the field of economic and social development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean.

It is a Multilateral Development Bank for Latin America and the Caribbean countries. It is an institution under the IDB group. IDB lend money to counties and government sectors, however IDB Invest lend money to provide sectors in Latin America and Caribbean. Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) |
ERIA is an international organization jointly established by the 16 countries participating in the East Asia Summit under Japan’s initiative for the purposes of conducting policy research and devising policy recommendations in order to promote East Asian economic integration. Work with economics-related databases such as Econlit, CEIC, and WITS, as well as STATA statistical analysis software as part of this internship.
