2026年8月6日（木）～8月16日（日）は大学の一斉休業になり、キャリアセンターは閉室に伴い、推薦状業務も停止します。8月1日（土）～8月20日に推薦状を申請した場合、書類の不備有無によりますが、発行までに、平均で約10営業日をいただく場合がありますので、ご了承下さい。

From Thursday, August 6, 2026, through Sunday, August 16, 2026, the university will be closed for summer break. As the Career Center will be closed during this period, the processing of recommendation letters will also be suspended. Please note that if you apply for a recommendation letter between Saturday, August 1, and August 20, it may take an average of approximately 10 business days to issue the letter, depending on whether the documents are complete.

Career center accepts the recommendation letter applications for visa status change ONLINE.
キャリアセンターでは 、在留資格変更の推薦状申請をオンラインにより受け付けています。

Procedure flow/手順:

1. Read the guidelines and collect necessary documents./ガイドラインを参照し必要書類を集めてください。

2. Upload the documents from the following form/申請書類を以下の申請フォームよりアップロードしてください:

3. Wait for a reply email from the Waseda University Career Center, informing of the shipping date or when you can pick it up.
*Note that screening procedure may take about a week./キャリアセンターからの発送通知（郵送の場合）もしくは発行通知（キャリアセンターで受け取る場合）をお待ちください。*審査に1週間程度時間を要します。

4. Receiving the recommendation letter by letter pack or by visiting Career Center, go and apply for the visa change at the Immigration Services Agency along with other necessary documents./レターパックもしくはキャリアセンターで推薦状を受け取ったら、出入国管理局に他の申請書類と一緒に申請してください。
