Once you have accepted a job offer, or plan to further studies, or remain undecided even upon graduation, please update your graduation record on MyWaseda before you graduate. This graduation record is used for statistic data for Japanese government as well as reference data for new job-seekers of Waseda University.
Who needs to report this?
All degree-seeking Waseda students who will graduate in September 2025 and March 2026.

Reporting Procedures in MyWaseda
- Log in to MyWaseda with your ID and password, and report your career path from the “Career path report” screen in the “Career Compass”.
- Make a screenshot of “Confirmation Certificate of Career Path Report (the final screen of career path report),” and keep it until your graduation. You may be asked to show it in your graduation.
- If you have any questions, please make an inquiry to the career center ([email protected]).
Instruction of Career Path Determination Report
- You may re-write your report as many as you like until your graduation.
- Your information will be safely and appropriately managed and operate the personal information reported in accordance with Waseda University’s “Commitment to the Protection of Personal Information”. In addition, the data obtained will be used as non-personally identifiable statistical data.
- The students with the following career path should also need to report:
-Part-time job
-Entering a higher education
-Studying abroad
-Extension of graduation (staying in school)
-Taking certification examinations
-Undecided
-Self-employed business/starting a business
-Return to former job(元職復帰)
-Continuation of current job(現職継続)
- If you extend your study at Waseda (留年), please report so.
- If you determine your career path after reporting as “undecided,” please update the record. You may update the record for several times if necessary.
