“JTB” visits international students in Waseda
2023年度から始まり、様々な業界から その業界を代表する企業をお招きし、“早稲田大学の留学生限定” で業界研究イベントを開催しています。
2024 年度は、野村證券をはじめ JR 東日本、住友林業、楽天グループ、ニトリホールディングス、FUJI FILM、Panasonic、2025年度は、りそなグループをお招きしてきました。10月は、エンタテインメント業界から「エイベックス」、11月には航空業界から「JAL」をお招きしてきました！！そして年明け１月に、今回は「JTB」の皆様をご招待し開催致します。
多様化する社員の価値観を尊重し、DEIB （Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging）を推進し、社員一人ひとりの経験や価値観、個性を活かして輝くことができる環境を社員全員で創っていくことを目指され、JTBグループには約19,000名の社員が世界各国で業務に従事しています。「地球を舞台に『新』交流時代を切り拓く」というグループ経営ビジョンの下、多様なキャリアを積みながら活躍されています。
本イベントでは、採用担当者からご説明頂く経営理念やグローバル人材の採用方針、人材育成の考え方等をご紹介いただくほか、実際に働いている、元留学生（早稲田卒業生）の外国籍先輩社員にも登壇いただき、就職活動当初の経験やJTBに入社した決め手、仕事のやりがい等を語っていただきます。留学生の皆様にとっては、旅行業界におけるグローバル企業の経営戦略や人材採用等について、理解を深めることができる貴重な機会です！

「地球を舞台に、人々の交流を創造し、平和で心豊かな社会の実現に貢献する」。国境を超えたビジネスを展開し、社員にもグローバルな活躍の機会を開いています。多様性推進や社会貢献活動にも積極的に取り組まれ、JTBグループのグローバル戦略は、ツーリズム、エリアソリューション、ビジネスソリューションの3つの事業を基軸とし、地球を舞台に各地域の特性に合わせた事業展開で、あらゆる交流の機会を創出しています。旅行業の領域を超えて、世界中の人々と地域をつなぐ「交流創造企業」として新たな価値創造を推進しています。
本イベントでは、JTBビジネスモデルやグローバル戦略への取り組み、多様な社員が活躍する職場環境についてご紹介頂きます。さらに、Q＆Aセッションを通じて現在JTBでご活躍されている社員（元留学生（外国籍社員））の経験談や仕事のやりがい等についてお話頂きます。なお、本イベントはキャリア教育啓発プログラムと位置付け、企業の採用活動との関係はありません。
