講演概要 |
In the years to come, what should university students around the world learn about Japan’s role and Japanese experience in World War II? How do we frame the story of this vast event? These three lectures will highlight some recent research on the war years as well as individual testimony and other primary documents to explore new ways to write, teach, and think about Japan’s World War II. Members of the audience will be invited to participate in the exercise by sharing their own ideas of what matters most in transmitting knowledge of the war today and in the future.
