Mr. Sho Shimabukuro (2020 graduate) from the Faculty of Sport Sciences participated for the first time in the main match of the Wimbledon Championships (men’s singles), one of the four major international tennis tournaments, held from July 3, 2023.
Mr. Shimabukuro advanced through the qualifying round by winning three qualifying matches, and although he was eliminated in the first round of the main tournament, he achieved the feat of participating in the main round for the first time in one of the four major tournaments.
