Waseda University Recurrent Education Program

About this program

This is a recurrent program implemented and operated by the Waseda University Information Production Systems Research Center with the support and cooperation of Kitakyushu City and the Waseda University IPS-Kitakyushu Consortium.
We also welcome participation from unemployed people (retirees, housewives, etc.) who are thinking about finding employment or starting a business.

Overview

The basic idea behind this course is that "in most cases, DX talent does not refer to people who can bring about change by making full use of the latest AI technology or data science, but rather to people who can keep an eye on the cutting-edge trends in DX, put forward their own way of thinking about DX, and communicate in terms that those around them can understand."
This course has four programs:
・Lectures to help small and medium-sized enterprises "effectively utilize DX as an organization" and "think about what can be realized as a service rather than a digitized product"
・For individuals, lectures to learn the basic concepts of DX
In both cases, you can acquire the "technical skills" to understand DX, the "broad perspective" to foresee change and take an overall view of the times even in times when it is difficult to predict the future, and the "co-creation skills" to understand corporate culture, consider the meaning of work, and create value together.
