Prof. Van der Eijk’s first visit to Japan and lecture
We were very fortunate to be able to invite Professor Cees van der Eijk (Nottingham University), who has led many of important election studies in Europe, ranging from the British Election Studies (BES) to the European Election Studies (EES) since the 1980s.
Audiences were much inspired by Prof. Van der Eijk’s lecture
Professor Van der Eijk gave us a stimulating keynote speech, entitled “Sources of Euro-Scepticism: Domestic Politics, European Integration and Globalisation”. More than 80 audiences consisting of students, policy experts, and professors were much inspired by this keynote lecture by the leading scholar and learned a great deal of the concepts and sources of euro-scepticism and the contexts of Brexit.
