Exploring Global Japanese Studies at Waseda (Series Ⅲ)
The Global Japanese Studies Model Unit at Waseda University released a video titled “A Feature of English Studies: An Overview of Japanese Translation of Shakespeare and Novels”, the third video of the “Exploring Global Japanese Studies at Waseda” series. This installment focuses on the topic of translation.
In the first part of video, Professor Hiromi Fuyuki talks about English literature while introducing collections from the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum. After, Professor Koji Toko explains American literature by making a comparison with Japanese literature in the second part of the video.
