In 2032, Waseda University will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of its predecessor, Tokyo Senmon Gakko. We have published the first volume of the Waseda University 150 Years Chronicle in 2022.
The Chronicle aims to be “a new annual history corresponding to a new era”, the exhibition will look back on the process up to the publication of the Chronicle. The exhibition introduces new findings from the compilation project and new efforts made in the compilation process. In addition to the minutes of meetings, proofs, and basic materials of the compilation project, past annual histories and wooden signboards of the University History Archive can be viewed.
