The Moonshot Program for agriculture, forestry and fisheries: Construction of circulating production platform by environmental control based on Soil Microbe Atlas (Project Manager: Waseda University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering Professor Haruko Takeyama) will host “The International Symposium on One Health by Sustainable Bio-ecosystem – Understanding and Utilizing Plant-Microbe Interactions in Agricultural Soils” with the purpose of disseminating research results and promoting international cooperation along with the implementation of research into society.

Part 1: Young researcher presentation session sharing the results of 8 different research activities

Morning: Speeches from Japanese and European policy makers and a report on the results of her project for Moonshot’s Goal 5 by Program Manager and event Chair Haruko Takeyama
Afternoon: A technology and business session focusing on the realization of WHO’s agriculture centered approach ONE HEALTH; Presentations by scientists in the research field, global companies, and finance-related parties from the perspective of the implementation of science into society
