*Please read the following announcement if you are a March 2020 graduate or a March 2020 doctoral degree recipient

1. March  and September 2020 graduation ceremonies for undergraduate/graduate students and Art and Architecture School students

*The March and September 2020 graduation ceremonies will be held online. The event will be streamed live.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Waseda University has decided to hold the March and September 2020 graduation ceremonies for undergraduate/ graduate students and Art and Architecture School students online. Only the valedictorian and salutatorian of each undergraduate/graduate schools as well as of the Art and Architecture School will be invited to attend the ceremony in person.

Though we had planned on inviting March 2020 graduates to attend this ceremony, we sincerely apologize for the lost opportunity.

This decision was made so that we can be absolutely sure to hold some face-to-face classes during the upcoming fall semester. We appreciate your understanding.

We will be individually contacting those students who would have received their doctoral degree at the September 2020 Graduation Ceremony about how their degree will be handed to them.
