On July 11, Yuzuru Hanyu from the School of Human Sciences (e-school online degree program) was named the Most Valuable Skater at the first edition of the ISU Skating Awards. Congratulations Hanyu!

Hanyu is a two-time defending Olympic champion who won the 2018 and 2014 Winter Olympics. He is also the first and by far the only male figure skater who completed a Super Slam, winning the two major junior-level international competitions—World Junior Championships and Junior Grand Prix Final—and all three major senior-level international competitions—World Championships, Grand Prix Final and Four Continent Championships.

The following is a short video clip on Hanyu winning the title.
