Second Extension of Suspension Period for Preventative Measures Against Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Regarding Events Organized by the University

The university previously laid out the preventative measures for the spread of the novel coronavirus pertaining to events organized by the university, including those by faculty and staff. Any event or gathering that falls under the following would be cancelled or postponed.
- Events with a large number of participants (i.e. 30 people or above)
- Events where many senior citizens are expected to attend
- Events that involve close physical contact between participants
- Social gatherings, including zemi-gasshuku (training camps)
Considering that the situation has not subsided, the university has decided to extend the suspension period to May 10 (the day before the start date of Spring 2020 semester).
