Delegation from the University of Turin visits Waseda

On June 10, 2026, a delegation of seven representatives from the University of Turin, including Rector Cristina Prandi, visited the university for an exchange of views.

The meeting opened with welcoming remarks by President Tanaka, followed by an introduction of Waseda University’s recent international student exchanges. Representatives from the University of Turin also provided an overview of their international collaborations with other institutions and engaged in discussions on the potential for future cooperation and development between the two universities.
The University of Turin is known not only for its long and distinguished history, but also for its innovative initiatives, including strengthened collaboration with United Nations organizations.
The two universities have maintained University-wide Agreements since 2018.
