On September 12th, Natsumi met with President Kaoru Kamata at Okuma Auditorium on Waseda Campus in order to report on her performance at the London Olympics.

Natsumi conversed with President Kamata on topics such as her graduate thesis. She stated that her performance at the Olympics was due to support from the Japan Swimming Federation and the Japan Institute of Sports Science (JISS) . “I want to deeply consider how such support helped me,” said Natsumi. “By reflecting on my unique experience as an Olympic athlete, it may be beneficial to my personal growth or to the future of swimming instruction if I can document my experiences in my graduate thesis.”
