“Waseda Live House,” a model house presented by a group of Waseda professors and student researchers at the ENEMANE HOUSE 2015 exhibition in Minatomirai Yokohama was awarded the exhibition’s highest honor.

ENEMANE HOUSE was established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2013 as an opportunity for students to think about future housing based on the concepts of “energy,” “life,” and “Asia.” Students built model houses using cutting-edge technology which were then put on display and tested.

Representing Waseda at this year’s exhibition were Professors Hiroto Takaguchi and Keigo Kobayashi, and research students from the Hiroto Takaguchi, Hitoshi Watanabe, and Shin-ichi Tanabe Laboratories.
