A short walk from Waseda Campus is Toyama Campus. Commonly referred to as “bun-kyan (文キャン),” the campus is attended mainly by students from The School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, and the School of Culture, Media and Society and the Student Union Building is a popular meeting spot for circles. Even students attending other campuses have surely visited Toyama Campus at least once. The campus had been under construction since the beginning of 2014 and finished in March 2015. Temporary buildings have been removed, revealing a spacious campus with a wide range of facilities.

The Memorial Hall of Toyama Campus which has been used for entrance and graduation ceremonies will undergo reconstruction and is expected to be completed in 2019. An event commemorating its reconstruction will be held from in July. Now may be your only chance to see Toyama Campus not under construction for a number of years.
