略歴：Reto Hofmann is Senior Lecturer in Asian Studies at Curtin University, Perth, and Research Adjunct at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Studies. He specializes in modern Japanese and international history. He is the author of The Fascist Effect: Japan and Italy, 1915-1952 (Cornell University Press, 2015), and editor, with Max Ward, of Transwar Asia (Bloomsbury, 2021). His work has also appeared in the Journal of Contemporary History, Journal of Global History, Japan Forum, and Journal of Asian Studies. He received his BA (Hons) from UWA and PhD from Columbia University.

略歴：Noriko UNNO is currently Assistant Professor at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Study. She specializes in the modern history of China and Central Eurasia and Islamic studies. She received her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D., from the University of Tokyo, in 2017. She has conducted research at the Harvard Yenching Institute, the National Chengchi University, and the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. She is the author of numerous scholarly articles which explore the social history of Sinophone Muslims and the Turkic people in today’s Xinjiang, their relations with the Ottoman, Japanese, and Russian empires, and Japan’s Islamic policy in the WWII.
山村 崇

略歴：1980年京都市生まれ。専門は都市計画、都市・地域デザイン。
早稲田大学理工学部建築学科卒業後、複数のIT企業の設立・経営・事業統合等に従事。その後、早稲田大学大学院創造理工学研究科（後藤春彦研究室）にて大都市圏構造の変容プロセスと企業立地メカニズムの関係性についての研究を開始。2010年3月、早稲田大学大学院創造理工学研究科修了、修士（建築学）。同博士課程を経て、2014年7月に博士（工学）学位取得。
2014年早稲田大学建築学科助教、2018年同講師、2019年早稲田大学高等研究所講師、2021年同准教授を経て、2022年より東京都立大学都市環境学部都市政策科学科准教授。このほか、早稲田大学研究院客員准教授、高等研究所招聘研究員。
現在の主な研究領域は、知識産業(KIBS)の立地・移転要因、《景観》の構造と意味、 国内外のナレッジシティ(Knowledge City)事例研究、大都市圏郊外部における業務地域の形成プロセス、都市構造とワーク・ライフスタイルの関連、郊外既成住宅地の再生、孤独感と都市空間など。
日本建築学会奨励賞、早苗賞ほか受賞。主な著書に「無形学へ —かたちになる前の思考— まちづくりを俯瞰する5つの視座」（水曜社／共著）、「東京大都市圏における社会経済構造の変化に伴う郊外産業圏域の変容 —産業構造の知識化による事業所立地原理の変化に着目して—」（早稲田大学出版部／単著）、「都心周縁コミュニティの再生術—既成市街地への臨床学的アプローチ」（学芸出版／共著）ほか。
EDWARDS JR Donald Brent

略歴：D. BRENT EDWARDS JR. is Associate Professor at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Studies at Waseda University. His work focuses on (a) the global governance of education, and (b) education policy, politics and political economy, with a focus on low-income countries. Within these research lines, Edwards has focused on investigating the rise of global education policies and the influence of international organizations in education reform. Geographically, these areas of focus have led to research primarily in Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Paraguay), as well as Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines), and Africa (Kenya, Namibia, Zambia).
